Helping Kids Shine

Helping Kids Shine provide Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy services to children, young people and families in Wales and further afield.

 

Children, young people, and families have a variety of health needs, additional learning needs, and diagnoses.  Many of our families will have not yet received diagnoses but will have young people who are struggling to engage in life at home and school effectively.  We support many neurodivergent young people and families (Autistic, ADHD, dyspraxic, dyslexic, etc.) and many young people with physical disabilities.  We link up with families, caregivers, other professionals, local statutory services, case managers, and legal teams.

 

Our services take place in various locations, although where possible we invite young people and their families to our base in Aberkenfig.  We also often work with young people and families in their own homes, schools, and sometimes in the community.  We also offer virtual support where appropriate.
