The Zone

The Zone, located in the heart of Bridgend town centre, is a community centre set up to support all members of the borough. Open daily, our friendly Zone staffers and volunteers are always on hand to provide practical advice and guidance on a wide range of topics all in the comfort of an informal coffee lounge setting.

As well as providing advice and guidance on topics including parenting (toddlers through to teenagers), money management, nutrition & healthy eating, health & well being and many more besides (subject to funding). The Zone can also help you to develop your CV and assist in job searching. If that wasn’t enough, The Zone also offers free training courses at the centre (subject to funding) and we can also sign post you to other agencies and youth services.

The centre is very easy to access and is equipped with a disabled toilet, baby changing facilities, a modern level 5 food hygiene rated kitchen, a large meeting room (which is available for hire) and a coffee shop area where you can purchase a selection of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, homemade cakes and teacakes.

Surplus food donated from local supermarkets are available to all free of charge.  Pick up from outside the Zone.
