Youth Group

YPOP LGBT+ YOUTH GROUP runs on Zoom every Monday evening from 5-6pm.

​

YPOP is open to all young people aged 12-17 years old who are LGBT+ or allies and is a great way to socialise with other young people from across Bridgend.

​

The meetings are more informal than the Youth Council and this is more of a Social Group for young people to be themselves and socialise. We hold quiz nights, Chat and Chill Drop In’s, Cosplay Evenings and have some guest speakers in now and again to deliver training and workshops such as our Deputy Youth Mayor G’s Award-Winning Trans Awareness Training.

YPOP is an online Safe Space for young people who are looking to make new friends, engage in workshops and discussions and receive support from our Participation Team if needed.

​

We are looking to move this group to our new Youth Hub at Evergreen Hall next to the Civic Offices in Bridgend at the end of the month for some face to face sessions.
